Earth Rustlers written in chunky wood-carved font

History

Earth Rustlers were a folk music duo based in Southport, UK, active between 2012 and 2017. The group played mainly original material penned by singer-songwriter Pete Jorgensen, along with covers of artists such as The Band, Bob Dylan, Velvet Underground, and Ralph McTell. Bill Butterworth played percussion using an ingenious homemade cajon, making use of percussive items such as an old number plate and a bag of stones.

Music

Earth Rustlers played over forty original numbers at various live performances, including the national chainsaw wood carving festival, but only released one album featuring twelve songs - Lazy Woods, 2016.
